nuweld® GP rods are of low Carbon steel with a coating of Titania. The arc is stable and spatter loss is negligible. The slag is fluid and when solidified, is easy to remove. The finished weld is very smooth. The nuweld GP rod gives a very smooth weld, the slag is easy to remove and they are excellent for "touch" welding.

nuweld® GP rods are suitable for welding Mild Steel & Galvanised Mild Steel in all positions. They are easy to strike and run well - even on poor power supplies and long extension leads.

nuweld® GP electrodes comply with AS1553 Part 1-1983. Corresponding to A.W.S.E 6013, B.B.217, G.BT 42/1.

Stainless Steel Electrodes

Approvals: ASME/SFA5.4. AWS E316L-16. Approved by ABS,BV,DNV,KR,LR,TUV.

nuweld® Stainless Steel electrodes are most suitable for welding 316 type Stainless Steels in all positions. Surfaces to be welded should cleaned of any dust and oil. It is recommended that low amps are used with a short arc and that the electrodes be dried for about 30 minutes at 150c before use.

Cast Iron Electrodes

nuweld® Cast Iron electrodes are suitable for joining most types of Cast Iron and for welding Cast Iron to steel. The metal surfaces to be welded should be clean and it is recommended that the Cast Iron electrodes be dried for about 30 Minutes at 150c prior to use.
